Take the train from Armstrong to mile 44.3 on the West side of the bridge at Redhead Lake. Paddle north to the Nemo River, Snake, Dagger, Change & Jeep Lakes. From Brennan Lake pass Brennan Falls to Granite Lake and the Lower Allanwater River to Wabakimi Lake. Follow Lower Wabakimi to Smoothrock Lake, Caribou River, Caribou Lake and Little Caribou Lake to the take-out by the bridge at the south end. The bridge is 5km (3 miles) from the town of Armstrong.
This is a 133km (83 mile) 8 day canoe trip.
Or paddle the easier route from Nemo River, west through Windfall Lake to a brief section of the Allanwater River and enter Brennan Lake at the west end to enjoy a leisurely paddle, weaving between the islands, across the entire lake.
